Most people have fond memories associated with various foods or smells. For myself, I can remember my Grammy making me this recipe when I was a little girl. I loved it so much I started to make it when I was in High School. It was a recipe I could get right every time and it tasted so good.

Once we moved into the new house my husband and I started listing all the things we missed baking. This recipe was at the top on the list. Oh, how I missed these delicious poppyseed muffins!
Recipe for Poppyseed Muffins
Beat:
- 3 eggs
- 1 ⅛ cups oil
- 2 ½ cups sugar
Add:
- 1 ½ cups milk
- 1 ½ teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 ½ teaspoon butter extract
- 1 ½ teaspoon almond extract
Add:
- 3 cups flour
- 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 Tbs Poppyseeds
Grease and flour 2 bread loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour -or- add muffin liners to 24 muffin tins and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
