Family Room

Keeping Room
What is a keeping room? The actual definition of a keeping room is – “an area adjacent to the kitchen”. It is a term that dates back to Colonial times when homes were typically heated by a small fireplace or wood-burning stove in the kitchen. This room was a must for me to really bring the cottage feeling into our home. Now that we live here it is our most used room. See all details here on how we finished the fireplace

Master Bathroom
This was such a fun space for me to design. I wanted a big tub, the hubs wanted a big shower. Then we added fun floating vanities for a custom look and my dream marble tile! You can view all of my choices here

I finished my daughters vanity room! I was hesitant to do black, but she was insistent. I must say, it love how it turned out. You can see how I tiled the backsplash and created the wainscoting here
Little Buddies Bathroom
I wanted to create a fun bathroom my son could go with. Black and white was the perfect solution. I did add a white oak vanity to warm up the space just a bit. For all details check out my post here
