Whenever I have to take a salad to a party this is the one. This bacon craisin and broccoli salad always brings in the complements. That usually start with, I don't usually like broccoli salads, but this one is delicious.
I make this salad year around since there is nothing seasonal in it.

- white distilled vinegar

Instructions for a bacon craisin and broccoli salad
Cut up the broccoli, but not too small. The dressing helps to soften the broccoli just a bit.
Add the bacon bits and craisins to the broccoli
Add all dressing ingredients to a bowl and mix up really well.
Now pour the dressing over the broccoli and mix up with tongs.
Hint: pour the dressing on an hour before eating. This will help all the tastes to blend. Make sure to mix up again before serving.
- Use raisins instead of craisins
- Add a slight spice with ¼ cup of red onions
- Add a crunch with 1 cup of sunflower seeds
Store the salad in the fridge covered with suran wrap. I think the salad tastes just as good, if not better then next day.
Bacon, Craisins and Broccoli Salad
- 1 Cutting Board
- 1 knife
- 1 bowl
- 1 set of tongs
- 1 large head of broccoli
- 1 cup craisins
- 1 cup crumbled bacon
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 4 tablespoon sugar
- Cut up the broccoli and place in a large bowl. Add bacon and craisins to the bowl of broccoli.Mix all dressing ingredients in a bowl and then pour over broccoli. Chill and serve.
