Besides your bedroom, your master bathroom is the one place you want to be functional and warm since you spend quite a bit of time there daily. But styles are so diverse lately and there are so many options out there.
I've narrowed down a few different style choices and functions that I like, that may present different ideas. Take a peek through these master bathrooms and find some to inspire your own remodel.
Master Bathrooms to Inspire Your Remodel
Don't be afraid to create contrast. I really wanted to make the center cabinet pop. Do do that I added picture frame molding to either side and painted it a dark color! See the full tutorial here

Don't write off wood. Isn't all of the wood in this bathroom beautiful? I love the wood cabinets with the slight grey undertones and the tile that looks like wood as well. It's totally ok to incorporate two different wood shades.
You don't see dark walls too often in bathrooms because they are usually small and needing to feel bright and airy. But, this dark shiplap is done superbly as an accent wall and really makes the white vanity pop! (Source unknown)
I love this separate shower that falls directly down on you. Plus, it's really nice to not have to worry about a shower door or curtain with the separation provided by the wall.
And what do you think about this new trend to combine your shower and tub in the same wet zone area, like this one? I'm intrigued by it, for sure! It definitely makes things much easier keeping all the wet in one spot.
I love the gorgeous natural elements of this shower, especially the awesome dual heads flowing against the stone backdrop.
Another fun idea is to add wainscoting and painting it a dark green color. It helps to add a relaxing moody vibe to a renovated bathroom.
This is our second farmhouse master bath remodel and I love the transformation!
This is a fun and modern contrast of light and dark in this bathroom.
Wow! I love the fun window doors and beautiful patterned tile in this bathroom.
What a fun mix of modern meets farmhouse bathroom!
And I specifically wanted to point out a couple things for this bathroom. Take a look at the lighting and the mirrors. Round mirrors are different from traditional rectangular, but they can add so much more style to a room. And those lights? Very different from normal bathrooms, but that's not a bad thing to change it up and do something else.
I love the dual sinks PLUS the third vanity in this farmhouse style remodel. It's so nice to have a separate area to do makeup and hair! And adding a third mirror makes the room look much bigger. I love the flooring too.
Happy remodeling!
