I am always looking for inexpensive ways to change up my decor, but still make it practical. The other day I was washing my sheets and thought, what if every time I washed my bedding I could change my master bedroom decor up a bit.
Master Bedroom Bedding
With Linens and Hutches fun patterned sheets and duvet covers it makes changing things up so easy.
I was worried my duvet cover would get all balled up or not stay on my duvet well. I have been pleasantly surprised about how well it stays in place, I even sleep with it each night.
My most favorite thing about having a duvet cover is when my dog jumps on my bed with her muddy paws, instead of washing the entire blanket I just take the duvet off and give it a good wash. My duvet cover came with the matching striped pillow shams as well.
For my sheets I went with a dark grey that has a slight chevron pattern in them. The sheet set came with a fitted sheet, a top sheet and 2 pillow covers.
For my second set of bedding I have a white duvet cover and the ribbon patterned striped sheets. I love the clean crisp look of the white with the striped sheets. These sheets add a fun farmhouse feeling to my room as well.
Pillows and Throws
Another fun way to change up your decor is with pillows and throws. For this picture I changed out the pillows to all white and added a white throw. It made my bed and sheets stand out more.
If you have all white pillows try adding in a colored pillow in the very front as a fun accent.
And my favorite is to add a dark throw. My step mom made me this throw, It is called the Nubbie Hubbie and you can find the pattern here.
