Out of all the rooms in your house, the master bedroom is the one place you want to be a personal sanctuary. It's my own space where I can unwind and relax after a long day. And, although it's been some time in the making, I have finally finished and am now ready to share our master bedroom reveal.

Here is my bedroom before...

My Master Bedroom Reveal

OFFICE NOOK - I love this small space in my bedroom. A lot of people opt for sitting areas, but I knew that I'd get the most use out of a desk area. Did I ever tell you this desk is actually made by Clint Harp? I won it at Haven from Dremel a few years ago. Pretty awesome, right?

Clint Harp Desk!

I love the rustic-ness of the desk as it matches my floor and fits in perfectly with my themed bedroom.  I wanted to pull the gray over to this area as well so I snatched up this chair!

Bed Area

This is the bedroom set my in-laws gave my husband and I for our wedding 14 years ago. It was wood with weird metal stuff on it. I took the metal off and refinished it white. My kids had picked at the paint and I was ready for a change anyway, so I stripped it down and painted it with Peppercorn Paint by Sherwin Williams. (tutorial coming soon)

Bedding

I just love my new bedding from Linens and Hutch. A fun way to add a little design into your bedding is to get a neutral comforter then accent with colored sheets. In this case, I got stripes and I love how they look with my white bedding. Linens and hutch's duvet cover and sheets are so soft. I feel like I am in a hotel every night!

Fun toss pillows are the perfect accessory for making your bed look full.  My friend Kristi over at Paisley Pocket Design made me these pillows, she sells them here.  The big ones are 26"x26" and the white lace brings in so much fun texture. I wanted to pull the design from the rug up to the bed so Kristi found this darling fabric. These pillows are 20"x20". The striped pillow I found at a market a few years ago. I loved the smaller stripes on it to compliment the sheets. I have found that for euro pillows I like to get feather stuff forms. They have a better shape and I can karate chop them on the top!  You can shop my favorite forms below:

An accent blanket is always a fun accessory to throw on top. And it can bring in more color.  My stepmom made this blanket for me, I love the texture it brings to the bed.

Rug

Let's talk about this rug from Well Woven Rugs. It is the Mora Ivory Traditional Vintage Rug.

It has such great color variations in it. There is some white, cream, taupe, gray and charcoal.  I love rugs with variations because they pull everything together.

It  bring the wood tones together with the whites and charcoals!  I also love the vintage style of this rug.  If by chance it happens to get dirty it doesn't show nearly as much. Not to mention, this rug is super soft and well made!

Throw pillows, a charcoal afghan and a lets cuddle sign are the perfect accessories.

Accessories

First up, this amazing let's cuddle sign from Currently Chic.  My husband may hate me for saying this, but he does love to cuddle, so when I saw this sign i knew we needed it.  I am super impressed with the quality of Brittany's signs. The frame is wood and the main sign part is on baltic birch plywood so it is super durable as well! (shop here)

Hearth and Hand Stoneware Pitcher.

My lamp was a garage sale find. It was an ugly yellow glass color, but I loved the textures so I snatched it up for $5... SCORE!!  You can shop my accessories below:

Neutral Master Bedroom

Paint Colors

I painted my room with Crushed Ice by Sherwin Williams and my moldings are painted in snowbound by Sherwin Williams.

Neutral master bedroom retreat!

My master bedroom reveal turned out exactly how I hope it would. The space is bright and open, with neutral colors.
