Hello there!!  I can’t believe school is almost out and summer is just around the corner!  This is always my favorite time of the year, warm weather, BBQ’s, swimming…..and hopefully a few lazy mornings!  We have a few little family vacations planned….they are the kind that you DON’T need a vacation from your vacation.  We sit on the beach, build sand castles and just enjoy one anothers company.  Eeek, just writing about this is getting me all excited.  Alright before I get carried away…enough about summer……and on to my real post…..reclaimed wood signs.

Since the weather is warmer I have been spending lots more time in the garage and I have been having so much fun designing and creating these reclaimed wood signs below!  Is it crazy that if you asked me what I wanted to do….I would say….hang out in my garage?!  I love to create, it is my outlet and there is just something so rewarding about creating something.  Once a project is done, it is done and I have a piece of art to show for my hard work..,…unlike housework….where I clean and clean and clean all day and come to another room to find my son has just undid everything I did….but that is a subject for another time 😉

I have had so many requests for my reclaimed signs I am now listing them in my Etsy shop!  Some of them are for pick up only as they are very heavy and big, making them expensive to package and ship.  But the smaller ones are available for shipping and I have some really cute ones listed.  I will also be listing more on June 8th in my Etsy Shop (link here)

This sign is 4 feet long…yes you heard right 4 feet long!! (listing here)

Very nice looking signs. I really like the cut out letters over the reclaimed wood. You don’t see too many people doing that.

Do you mind me asking how you attached the boards to the inside of the frames?? I am trying to use some old barnwood that our family had to make a gift for my family and not sure how to attach the boards. Thank you 🙂
