A tiered tray is a simple and stylish way to decorate for every season.

If you are the type who loves a simplistic approach to decorating, tiered trays are your new best friend. Tiered trays are one of my favorite things to decorate for their versatility and ease.

With spring season right around the corner, you'll want to have something festive for your table centerpiece or styled in the entryway. Creating spring tiered tray decor is the perfect solution for simple decoration in your home.

Why You'll Love a Tiered Tray

A tiered tray is ideal for your spring decor ideas, but here are a few more options.

  • Perfect for any empty space on a coffee bar or table centerpiece
  • Use for displaying home decorations
  • Use for displaying food appetizers or dessert while entertaining
  • Helps to save on space when you have limited tabletops available
  • Easy to change out seasonally with holiday decorations or every day home decor

Tiered Tray Design

Tiered trays come in many different shapes, styles and materials. There are single, double and triple tray versions. And trays can are available in wood, metal, ceramic and even a combination.

There are also a variety of shapes including square, oval and circle trays. Having a tier tray in your home is the perfect way to reflect your personal and unique style because the options are endless.

I have rounded up some great spring decor ideas for your themed tiered trays. But first, if you need a tiered tray, here are some of my favorites.

Here are some favorite spring and Easter themed trays. I love how unique and different each one is, but still beautiful and stylish. These are some great and easy ideas that you can easily do at home. You can also view the video below with simple steps on how to create your own tiered tray!

Spring Tiered Tray Decor Ideas

A beautiful farmhouse decoration isn't complete without a stylish tiered tray. I added gorgeous spring flowers for pops of color. A candle, spring animals and a cute flower sign are good choices for larger objects. Using lots of greenery brightens up the display and makes it feel fresh and springy.

This tray is awesome for the whole spring season, but can also be used for the Easter holiday.

I also have a video below with tips and tricks on how to create your own tiered tray!

This next tray by Cozy Blessed Nest is beautiful. I love the greenery on this tray and how it pops! The wooden signs for St. Patrick's day are a great addition and can be easily swapped out with Easter decorations without changing the entire tray.

This tray, by Mantulgan.Me, could stay out all year round! It looks fresh and perfect for this time of year, but the decor pieces on this tray would also be great any time of year.

Easter Tiered Tray Decor Ideas

Look at this cute tray for Easter! This is a beautiful rustic wood tray by Montana Vintage Market. I love the way the white and pink decor pieces contrast the dark wood.

Using mugs on a tiered tray is a great way to use those adorable holiday cups. I just love spring mugs on this tray by Califarmhousefarm. The burlap carrots are such beautiful pieces on this tray and add a fun pop of bright color.

Style Your Own Tiered Tray

How to fill a stacked tray with ease!

Begin with Size - Start with a Large Base

The first step is to insert a few base items that are larger. These can be candles, jars, dishes, a small sign or anything that is going be a main focal point or fits into your color scheme.

Add Smaller Decor

Next, add in smaller decor items like figurines or small lanterns.

Add in Items that Layer or Drape

Add items that are going to layer or drape over the side of your tiers. Good options for this would be wood beads or garlands. Layering items also provides a variety of textures and dimension.

Use Filler Items

The last step will be to insert filler items into empty spaces. The best choice for this that I have found is using greenery or faux flowers. This will add elegance and fullness to your tiers.

Now that you have seen different ways to decorate and have received some inspiration, it is time to start your own. Here are a few of my favorite items.

  1. Tiered Tray
  2. Real touch tulips
  3. Succulents
  4. Lavender Plant
  5. Terra Cotta Pot Candle
  6. Eucalyptus
  7. Moss Balls
  8. Small Sign

There are so many other things that can be added to your tiered spring tray display. Don't forget wood beads, a spring sign, fresh flowers and some greenery make the perfect spring display for your kitchen table, coffee table or any where you want to.

Happy Decorating!
