Teen Desk Organizer Ideas
If you are looking for the best desk organization ideas for your area, you'll find ones that are cute and versatile for any organized space. My daughter is quite the artist and was in need of a spot to create without making the entire house a mess with crafts and school supplies. This small corner in her room is perfect for a crafting and homework station.
Magnetic Desk Organizers
When you have limited storage space, creating a tidy desk for your office supplies is ideal. These desk organizers are magnetic so you can easily mix and match however you want.
The professional organizers I decided on:
- 3 Metal back plates and an assortment of attachments
- Smaller one bin for pens and pencils
- Cork board is perfect for hanging pictures
- Bigger option holds notebooks great. These magnets are surprisingly strong. We have had 4 notebooks in there and it has yet to even budge.
- Long half bin to store bigger items in
Labels for Desk Organizer Ideas
One of my favorite desk organization ideas is using labels to keep everything organized. After the magnetic file folders were hung up, I pulled out my Cricut Joy and writeable vinyl and printed up some labels.
Having labels is the perfect solution to help my daughter keep everything nice and clean. I also found some cutes quote to print out as well, making this cute desk space even more functional and stylish.
Desks for Teenagers
Since this is a small work area, I opted for a console table instead of a desk. The best part about console tables is that they are a great option for a unique design when you have a narrow space, but still wide enough to tackle projects and homework. The only downside is that a console table does not always have a desk drawer or drawer dividers. But you can easily get around that with wall organizers or desktop organizers.
This desk is currently unavailable but I have rounded up some other great options below. Shop here.
Desk Decorating
Creating a desk space is an easy DIY that only takes up a little bit of additional space. This blank wall is now as functional as ever and it looks nice with these cute desk organizers. You can see more details on her room here.
Because this space is limited, we opted for small decor that would leave mostly open spaces but still provide a stylish look.
- Small framed art is a nice accent
- If you don't need a desk lamp, opt for a floral vase
- A piece of art or a statue
- A pen holder or organizer for writing utensils
- A desktop organizer to hold sticky notes or notebooks
