If I am being honest, homeschooling is not something I ever thought I would be doing. I am sure many of you feel this way. One of the main things I was struggling with was how unorganized our home was when it came to homeschooling. I felt like every room ended up being a mess with the kids and their stuff taking over everywhere.

Turning our office into our homeschool area was a great decision. I am hoping by having everything in one place it will help things run smoother. Since I am hoping homeschooling isn’t a permanent thing I wanted to create a space that I can change easily!

Functional Desks
I found these desks at Songmics. They are perfect for what I was looking for. I did buy 2 of them and pushed them together to create this look. Once I am done with them in our office I can easily move them to bedrooms. The chairs are some old antique chairs I refinished a few years ago.

Small Storage and Organization
I made this chalkboard and the little shelf with some left over wood I had in the garage. I wanted to create a space that could hold our pens, pencils, scissors, glue and whatever else we needed. This seagrass basket was perfect for that. Plus, it even left enough room for my laptop to slide under.
Room Decor
The boxwood wreath is from Krumpets Home Decor. If you use the code BROOKESTART you get 10% off. They also have very similar boxwood planters here. The hello there sign is from Target.

I found these darling rope bins at Target. I love the texture they add to the space. I got the 13″ tall bins and the 11″ tall bins.

I wanted to keep this space simple, but still create an area that my kids can hopefully learn in.
