How to Make a Paper Bag Bunny
Create the Bunny Ears
First step, make the bunny ears. Start by loosely folding the brown paper bag in half, long ways. But don't crease the fold.
Then, use scissors to cut out an ear shape on the outside edge.
When you open it up, your bunny's ears should look like this with one ear on each side of the bag.
Create the Bunny Body
Keep in mind that if you want to fill these bunny bags with Easter goodies or Easter eggs, now is the best time to do it before you proceed with the cinching. This makes for a whole lot of Easter fun for the kids.
Next up, it's time to create the bunny's body. An easy way for me to do this is using my fingers to cinch the bag together about an inch under the ears. After it is cinched up, tie a ribbon around and make a bow. I found that satin ribbon worked the best because of its smooth texture. I used different colors of pastel ribbon.

Make the Tail
After the ribbon is tied, I used my hot glue gun to securely glue a cotton ball on for the tail. You can also use a pom pom in a different color if that is what you have on hand.
Create Faces
If you're like me, you love this paper bag bunny just the way it is. However, some may want to add a bunny's face to the other side of these fun crafts, especially kids. You can do this a variety of different ways. Use construction paper for teeth and eyes, color a mouth, or even glue on googly eyes. I love the simplicity of the bunny tails, so I kept mine as is.
The best part is that this paper bag craft is easy to customize and make your own. You can even use them as paper bag puppets for a puppet show with a little altering or gluing to a popsicle stick.
