Hanging Bats

I decorated my porch in two phases. First, I focused on the swing area. Bats are a fantastic, budget-friendly way to create a big impact on a front porch. This year, I wanted to add a fun twist to the bats.
My cricut is so handy for projects like this. I used it to cut out bats for a fun sign. I wanted it to feel like the bats where coming out of the sign! This is such an easy DIY outdoor Halloween decoration ideas
To make this sign I used ½" plywood and painted it white. Next, I framed it in with pine which I painted black. Then I cut out black bats out of vinyl and cardstock. I used the vinyl bats on the sign and the cardstock bats to put on the house.
Hanging bats tip: use blue painters tape to hang them. You can also buy plastic bats on Amazon here.
