Decorating with Vintage Inspired Balusters

When I search for items to decorate my walls I always look for a fun, new element to mix in.  Let's be honest, frame after frame gets kind of boring!  So, I created these vintage inspired balusters to accent my wall space. Decorating with vintage inspired balusters can add dimension and detail that are simple, yet gorgeous!

When I first created them we only made them in white, but I really wanted to add them to my daughter's shiplap wall so I tested them out in black and I love them!

Just wait... it gets even better.  These balusters are available again in our Etsy shop. We have changed them up a bit too!  They are now available unfinished, white or black!  You can view the listing here!  You can also buy our love grows here sign here and the word cutouts here

Use them on either side of a picture

Isn't this space by Lacie from Loved by Lace beautiful?   Decorating with vintage inspired balusters on either side of a picture helps to fill in leftover space and it adds a new texture to the space. Another option is using these on either side of a cutout word, bordering the word in place of a frame.

Add boxwood wreaths

I love how Alicia from Our Vintage Nest added these small boxwood wreaths to our balusters and placed them on either side of this beautiful sign. The combination of greenery with the balusters really completes the desired look for the room.

Add them to a gallery wall

Tammy from Our Burlap Bungalow used them in her gallery wall.  Notice how she used them on either side of the wall to balance everything out!

But you don't always have to use 2.  I used one in my gallery wall and I love the added detail it provides!

Use our vintage inspired balusters on either side of a clock.

Cindy from The Vintage Road used them to frame in her clock.  I love the balusters coupled with her round clock and the detail it adds to that focal point.
