First let's take a look back to when we bought our house. Yup this is what is looked like the day we moved in. But I loved the big front porch with the pergola, I knew with some love it would be the farmhouse style front porch I always wanted.
Fast forward a few years and a whole lot of work and here what our porch looked like a few years ago. Let me just say there was not an inch of grass on our property, not even in the backyard. To haul all of the gravel and rocks out was quite the task, to say the least. But it was so worth it!
and here is what our front porch looks like today!!
Rather then replace the door we cased it in and gave it a fresh coat of paint, and it looks like a new door (tutorial here)
I love this hello door hanger we made with my handwriting, it is the perfect way to welcome our guests, you can buy in my shop here.
I found these boxwood trees at IKEA, and the best part, they are fake which means they will look great year around.
Where to start with these lavender topiaries? Are they not the cutest thing ever? I bought them at Costco and yes they are real! The large galvanized bucket is from Ikea, and the small one is an antique I found at a garage sale!
I pieced this cute set together. I had this cute side table in the garage.... I saw it at a garage sale a few years ago and I couldn't leave it behind so it came home with me until I could figure out what to do with it. I am so glad I did because it goes perfectly with these darling chairs my neighbor gave me. I painted them all with Benjamin Moore's White Dove and they look like they were meant to be together all along! I also found these lanterns at Ikea.
I know this sounds so silly.... but I have dreamt of the day I would have rocking chairs on my front porch. Well it finally happened, and I am in LOVE with them.
These beautiful pillows from Linen and Ivory are the perfect accessory for our rocking chairs! You can view Kendra's Shop here
