“A place for everything, and everything in its place”—this age-old adage rings true for any modern kitchen. But having a spacious and well-organized kitchen doesn’t have to mean spending a fortune.
With the perfect kitchen hacks, you’ll have more space and easy access to all the essentials in no time. Here are some brilliant ideas for organizing your kitchen while staying within your budget.

DIY Kitchen Organization Ideas
Whether you have a small kitchen or a large one, it's important to have a functioning space. And not just an ideal kitchen layout, but also keeping your cabinet space and kitchen drawers functioning too. These kitchen storage ideas have become a lifesaver in navigating the use of our gathering space.
Utensil Storage
When it comes to kitchen organization, eliminating the clutter in your messy drawers can make a big difference. Having some kind of drawer dividers can help with that.
Drawer Organizer
I love my gold kitchen utensils, but I don't love the mess when they are out of place. Finding a utensil holder that works for your space is the best way to organize. The gray holder is perfect for smaller utensils and small spaces. And the black organizer is a great way to store utensils because it can expand to the right size that you need and doesn't slide around.
Cooking Utensils
Because we utilize our cooking utensils so much, an easy way for me to store them is by placing them in a container that sits on my counter space. The stoneware is gorgeous, textured and fits right in without clashing with our backsplash.
Fridge Organizing
What better place to get more DIY kitchen organization than in your fridge! When you know where everything is, your food is less likely to go bad which saves your grocery bill in the long run.
Egg Storage for Kitchen Organization
The crates and cartons that eggs come in tend to be bulky or require removing the entire carton from the fridge to get an egg. I found these egg organizers and I am in love! They fit so much better in my fridge, providing me with extra storage space for other things. Pull one egg out and the rest roll forward.
And the best part? These trays can stack so I can add more items on top of the clear containers and get extra space.
Clip-on Drawer Hack
I didn't know these drawers were kitchen essentials until I tried them. Our fridge needed more organizing space and so I found these clear bins that can attach directly to the shelf. These are the perfect plastic containers for storing small items that get lost in your fridge.
Cabinet Storage
It's a great feeling when you know what's at the back of your cabinets. So if your kitchen cabinets are like mine, things tend to get lost or shoved in the back by kids. Change that with these easy hacks!
Kitchen Organization for Water Bottles
Our water bottles used to get tossed into the inside of cabinet doors until I found this bottle organizer that easily fits inside. It stacks and can fit almost all of our water bottles.
I also found an organized way to keep lids so that it puts them all within easy reach.
Medicine Cabinet Kitchen Organization
We used to chuck all of our medicine in a plastic basket and toss it inside of the cabinet door. This spice rack is awesome because it can pull out and rotate. See the video above for more instruction! These racks are perfect for little items, while I used the open front baskets for larger bottles.

Junk Drawer Hacks
Everyone has one. The dreaded jam-packed drawers that are completely full of junk. These clear storage containers are a great idea because they make your junk drawer a much more functional space.
Built-in Kitchen Organization
For other pantry organization ideas, take a look at these built-in options for kitchen cabinets. I love these slide-out drawers for my cookware because it makes it so much easier to pull out a drawer to find things instead of digging around deep in the cupboard.
And these built-in spice racks for my spices and cooking oils is amazing! I love that everything fits so compactly. Organization never looked so good! Want more pantry ideas? Take a look at my pantry storage here.
