Sugar Cookie DoughHeat over to 350 degreesAdd 1 cup of butter and 8 oz of cream cheese and cream in mixer for about 1 minute. Add sugar and mix for an additional minute.Add egg, almond and vanilla extract and blend until smoothAdd all dry ingredients at once and mix until all ingredients are incorporated. Don't over mixDump on to cookie sheet and spread with a spatula. You can sprinkle flour on the top of the dough to help spreading. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes. Cook until the top is light golden brown.
Sugar Cookie FrostingCream ½ cup unsalted butter, 4 oz softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a mixer.Add vanilla and salt and beat until smoothAdd milk a little at a time until frosting is spreading consistency.After the sugar cookies are cold top with frosting.
