I’m a huge fan of getting in a good workout every day, so let me share just a few of my personal reasons for doing what I do. First, I have an athletic build. As a former cheerleader, I was never a toothpick like others, but I was just fine with that. However, I have had to constantly exercise to embrace my body type. And second, having a consistent exercise routine has been one of my necessary tools for maintaining my anxiety and depression. I literally would not be able to mentally function without that workout. With that being said, I get asked all the time about which brands of women’s fitness clothing I wear and like, and I’m finally addressing those questions! (affiliate links listed below)
Women’s Fitness Tops
When I work out I don’t like to worry about whether or not someone can see down my shirt. These tanks are great as they are a little higher and not so floppy (shop here)
But my absolute favorite are muscle tanks! (shop here)
A few big things for me in bottoms are length, if they are squat proof (see through), breathable and high waist. Whether I’m running or lifting, I want bottoms that will stay up and move with me.
Under Armor is one of my favorite brands, especially in bottoms. Shop here
If you are a Lululemon fanatic but can’t justify the prices, I have found ColorfulKoala on Amazon to be comparable. These bottoms are super comfy and meet all of my requirements, not to mention, super cute patterns.
I also really like this other pair of the same brand, but they are slightly shorter at 7/8 length, if you like something a little bit higher up on your leg. There is also a place for your phone or card on the side of your pants if you want a pocket.
These are my all time favorite shoes. They are wider at the toes and for working out/lifting weights they are AMAZING. They are a little pricey… but they are worth it. (shop here)
But if you want something a little more affordable these nikes are also great. And they are on sale at Nordstrom Rack right now for under $40 (shop here)
If you range in the A-C cup size, these bras provide pretty decent support for mid-range intensity workouts. I would not recommend these for high-intensity or if you are a D cup or larger. You can also purchase these at Costco.
But I just ordered these from Amazon… and I am in love and they are super affordable…. 3 for $20 (shop here)
I do also love these sports bras for a medium support. Link here
After all who doesn't love a FREE E-Course!!
