Reclaimed Wood Signs

We are about to complete another boutique....this is our last one before summer. We did it, we made it to 3 vintage markets/boutiques in 3 months.  It was stressful and more time consuming then we expected but they have been a great learning experience.  It is always nice to interact with customers and get their feedback.  This time around  I stocked up on our reclaimed wood signs.  When we first went to our first market, Vintage Whites, I took a few reclaimed wood signs, more as a way to showcase what to do with our cutouts and much to my surprise they sold out in an hour.    At our next vintage market I doubled up on signs, I took about 10 thinking this should cut it.....once again they sold out in an hour.  I have never been in the sign making business so this is all a learning experience for me.  We were thinking our cutouts would sell fast but instead people wanted our reclaimed wood signs.

We have also had many requests for them online......I am happy to announce we will be doing an Etsy Sale on Wednesday May 11th at 8am MST.  No 2 signs are the same as they are made from reclaimed moldings and frames so make sure you check it out...because once they are gone they are gone.

Reclaimed Wood Signs

This hello sign is one of my new favorites, I love the soft colors.

Reclaimed Wood Signs

I love this create sign made from pallets.  The texture of the rough sawn wood is perfect. You can buy our create cutout here

Reclaimed Wood Signs

This love sign is a favorite of mine.  I love the reclaimed cedar as a back drop and I painted this frame with milk paint for the perfect amount of chippy! You can buy the Love cutout here

Reclaimed Wood Signs

These blessed and twirl signs are a favorite of mine.  I love the soft 2 tones of the reclaimed moldings in the background with the colored frame and wording.  You can buy the cutouts here: Blessed, Twirl

This family sign is a favorite of mine.  I love the natural wood in the background with the coral frame.  You can buy the Family cutout here

Not all of these signs will be in our Etsy sale on Wednesday. As they are in our current boutique, Simple Treasures. Tomorrow is the last day so if you are local stop by and check it out!

I've been trying to decide what I can have put into my home to give it some personality. I think these signs would accomplish that perfectly! They have such a unique and modern design to them. Thanks for sharing!

I'm just curious how u make the wood stay? Is there a plywood back? Or do u just nail it to the frame?
