Here is a look at what my daughter's room looked like when we moved it.....a bit green!!
And....AFTER.....Isn't it amazing what a big impact paint and moldings can have on a room?! My daughter's gallery wall turned out perfectly.
My daughter's room is getting so close to being complete, the bedding needs a few finished touches but the gallery wall is done....this wall has been in the works for quite awhile now.....I am happy to finally check it off the To-Do list.
My girls room is small, very small, sometimes I feel like it is always a mess because we have too much stuffed into one room. We have tired to maximize space the best we could. I built these bunk beds from Ana Whites plans (post here), and we needed a second dresser so when I found this lingerie chest (transformation here) I refinished it and replaced the 2 drawer nightstand that used to be here. We wanted a lamp for the top bunk so we added these chandeliers and attached the switches to the top bed so they could be easily turned on and off.
My awesome husband hung all their moldings and I used my paint sprayer to paint it. The walls are Halo by Benjamin Moore and and the moldings are White Dove by Benjamin Moore. I wanted their room to be bright and cheery but since their room is so small I went with a light wall color to make it feel a little bigger and brought in color with their furniture and decor.
Their wall is a collection of thing I have found or made. I found the Marquee K and L at Kohl's, they are the first letter of my daughters name and I love that they are battery operated so they even work hanging on the wall!
The twirl and dream are 2 of my cutout designs, you can purchase them here
I got this "hello Gorgeous" sign from Cherry Hollow Lane. The colors are perfect and their signs are always high quality.
I sell this scrabble are in my Etsy shop as well...however they are hit and miss on being available as they sell out fast.
The rest of the items are vintage items I have been collecting.
I made their bedding from random fabrics by Amy Butler. I pieced them all together and I also quilted them. I wanted their bedding to be bright and fun. As soon as I finish them up I will post more about them!
