Are you ready for some new large reclaimed wood signs and words? I am so excited to show them to you.
I have been wanting to turn my handwriting into cutouts since we got our CNC machine. I like the look of a handwritten sign over a font. However, I am my worst critic and so I kept putting it off or saying I hated my handwriting, because honestly it is kind of sloppy, good thing that is in style right now!
I decided to cut a few of my words out and take them with me to a local market and much to my surprise people were asking for my handwriting over the ones I cut with a font. It was the confidence boost I needed to get to work to create my own line of signs.
Thanks to all of your for your encouragement I am happy to say we are releasing our newest line of handwritten signs TONIGHT at 7pm MST!! You can view our Etsy shop here

On to the next topic…. Our LARGE reclaimed wood signs.
These signs are for pick up only. I know, I know it just isn’t fair. Let me explain why, I promise it isn’t to be mean…I have good reason. See this sign below? I actually shipped this sign to a lady. I took the time to package it up all nice and secure, which by the way, costed me about $20 in packaging. I then shipped this package which was $65 to ship….. as luck would have it this sign was delivered broken so my customer refused the delivery (I am glad she did) and had it sent back to me. Now I am out $85 and I have a broken sign to show for it.
Luckily it was not broken beyond repair. I changed out the broken wording and fixed the frame and it is as good as new! These signs are all made from REAL wood reclaimed wood moldings so they can get heavy. Between the combination of how heavy and big they are any sign over 34″long seems to get broken during shipping. As a shop owner the last thing I want is for a sign to show up on someone’s front porch broken. It is not only frustrating for my customer but it is also frustrating to me. I want my customers to be satisfied with their purchase and I hate the feeling of not knowing whether a sign will show up broken or not. So there you have the long answer of why we do not ship our large signs. I am sorry for the inconvenience …. believe me when and if I find a way to ship these bad boys you will be the first to know!!
We do try to restock our Etsy shop every other week on Wednesday’s so if you are looking for a sign make sure to check back, or sign up for our newsletter here to say informed!
