I had been eyeing an embroidery hoop wreath for awhile because I love how simple, yet beautiful they are. Then I thought maybe I could add a word to the embroidery hoop. And following that I had my best idea yet… just design it all in one! I wrote it up to fit perfectly inside of this hoop. Get your cutout here.
How to make this Hoop Wreath
I first centered my lambs ear branches on the bottom of the hoop, and hot glued them on. This doesn’t need to look too pretty since it will be covered.
Next, I added a flower to one side. Pick some gorgeous fall florals to add on there!
and my next flower to the other side.
Then I added a few fillers. Always include fillers to make it look more full. These branches added the perfect fall coloring I was looking for. I just add hot glue to the end and then stick it into the lambs ear.
Once the hot glue is dry you can hang it. I just used twine to hang mine. But you can use a wreath holder, command strips or any other hook you may have!
I left this cutout the raw (unfinished) MDF. I love the way it looks against my black chalkboard. Feel free to paint it a color as well.
If you don’t want the hoop part, I also have just the give thanks cutout available in our shop! Click here. The word cutout is a great option if you already have a fall wreath, but would like to add some words to it.
This wreath is the perfect addition to my DIY plaid napkin signs. You can see my tutorial on how I made the signs here.
Happy crafting, my Friends.
