My daughter asked me, “Mom, when are we going to decorate the tree?” My husband replied with, “when has Mom ever let you touch the tree?” Totally a true statement. I am a little possessive of my Christmas tree. I was feeling a little guilty …. so I bought them their own tree and I added a few other items to add a hint of Christmas in their rooms.
Creating Christmas in My Girls’ Rooms
I added these beautiful signs from Hand Treated Home. Angela makes the most beautiful signs and I love how these two look layered. She is offering my followers 20% off as well. Just use the code startathome20.
I also found those cute bottle brush trees at Walmart. They are inexpensive, yet a fun way to fill in small spaces. I bought them in different sizes, colors and shapes to mix things up a bit.
Now let me share a few details about these trees. I found these 6 ft flocked trees at Walmart for only $35. It’s hard to find trees this size for that price so it was worth it! And, if you didn’t notice they LOVE them. We made those felt garlands together. You can get the flat balls here to make your own too.
I added a pillow to her bed and TADA her room has the perfect touch of Christmas.
My other daughters room
She also loves her tree… can you tell? She also made some felt garlands for her tree.
I got her some little trees too and added a pom pom wreath with my merry and bright cutout to the back of her chair.
To top it off I also added 2 pillows to her bed as well. So easy, but they love it.
