Another Barstool and Paint Sprayer

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July weekend.  We left town and went on a much needed trip down memory lane.  It was so great to see all my grandparents, and most of my cousins.  Man, it is hard to get back in the swing of things but it is good to be back!!
One of the best parts of blogging is having the opportunity to test out new products!   I had been looking for a electric paint sprayer I could haul a little easier for smaller projects, when Home Right asked me to test out their Finish Max HVLP paint sprayer I was so excited.
For larger pieces I use an air compressor sprayer, which is a pain to haul around, so this was the perfect solution.

A follower of my blog contacted me and asked me if I wanted a random barstool to add to my kitchen.  I was glad she did, it was perfect for my kitchen and for testing this paint sprayer out on!

I sanded the barstool down really good and then I pulled out the owners manual of my new sprayer and I was pleasantly surprised, there was actually instructions.  Some of my previous sprayers came with little to no instructions, which makes figuring out how to use the thing a little frustrating.  It is complete with a guide on how to thin you paint, how to spray and of course how to clean it up!
I ran several products through this sprayer to see how it would handle the different products.  First I primed this barstool, and then I added my color, look how smooth the finish is!  After I glazed the barstool I sprayed it with Polycrylic and I am very pleased with the paint sprayer and the end product, my paint is smooth and it was easy to use and CLEAN (very important)

Here is how the barstool turned out.  I love it in my kitchen and it fits perfect with my other barstools.

If you are looking for a smaller paint sprayer to use on your around the house projects I would recommend the Fine Finish HVLP Sprayer.

Home Right sent me a free Fine Finish HVLP Sprayer HVLP, but all of the opinions are my own.
I wouldn’t recommend this product if I didn’t feel it would benefit my readers!

Thanks for testing it out for us! It is so hard to find a good paint sprayer that isn't attached to an air compressor. Thanks for the info!!

What a great color! I love how it matches the glassware in the cabinet and how the edges are slightly distressed. Fantastic job! πŸ™‚

PS... Wanna come over and paint some stuff for me with that paint sprayer? πŸ™‚

2 questions: did you have to thin the polycrylic? What color paint is this?

2 questions: Did you have to thin the primer? If so to what consistency?
