I am so excited to show you Alicia’s spring home tour. She has such a fun way of mixing different elements together to create a seamless feel. Alicia from Our Vintage Nest and I have become friends through instagram…..social media makes this world such a small place. She doesn’t live in Utah…but she was born here….that totally counts…right?
Alicia is an Interior design enthusiast. She loves to collect antiques and incorporating vintage farmhouse into her home.
She has a bachelors degree in Social Services, with an emphasis on the elderly and she has been married for 16 years to Chris, they met on a blind date, how fun is that?
They have two kids… 1 girl (10), 1 boy (7). Are you ready to see her home? Come on in!
They have not done much remodeling to their house… A few shelves added here and there. They bought a custom home, so there was not much to be done except to get rid of the builder beige walls.
Alicia’s entry way is so inviting, I have a love for gallery walls and this one is perfect. I love all the different elements she used on this wall….and they all come together perfectly.
Alicia’s kitchen is such a great mix of wood and white. I love her white cabinets and barstools with her beautiful 2 toned table.
Her Favorite piece of furniture is this 5-foot church pew that she scored at a local flea market… Talk about being at the right place at the right time!
Next lets head into her family room.
I always struggle to decorate around my TV. I hate for it to stand out but I don’t want to cover it up either. Alicia has done a great job of creating this beautiful vignette around her TV so it doesn’t stick out, but instead looks like it is part of the decor!
I love the planks above her fireplace!
Is this not the cutest corner? And look at that corbel…it is AMAZING!!!
I love the calming blue color of her walls next to her beautiful wainscoting. Her walls are painted in Sea Salt by Sherwin William.
I love all of the moldings around Alicia’s house. Her crown, the headers over her windows and her wainscoting add a beautiful custom look!
What a calming master bedroom.

Boy’s rooms are so hard to decorate sometimes. I love how she used bold colors and an accent wall!
I hope you have enjoyed Alicia’s Spring home tour as much as I have. Thank you for sharing it with us!!
