Social media platforms are changing ALL THE TIME! Sometimes it is discouraging because we are not always seeing everything that we want to and we are missing content. I have a few tips to help you and your followers stay up to date on all the important things!
Tips to Stop Missing Content
1- Subscribe to an Email List – This is the best way to make sure you are always up-to-date on the important things. My email list is split into different categories so my followers get the emails they want. We have a weekly newsletter that enables my followers to receive highlights and important info for the week. A blog post sign up is available to send new, published blog posts straight to your email. Love my shop and what to know about new items and discounts are also categories that I have an email list for too! You can choose what you do and do not want to subscribe to. View my email subscription page here, and of course make sure to sign up 🙂 !
2- Comment and Like Posts – On Facebook and Instagram when you comment, like or share something you are letting them know you like this content and want to see more of it. When you interact with a person/brand, it’ll show up in your feed more often. So next time you see something you like don’t just scroll by… make sure to like, comment or share it!
Go to a profile on Instagram and click on the 3 dots.
A menu will pop up like this one, click on the push notifications and that’s it! Now everyone someone posts you will be sent a notification.
4- Follow Hashtags on Instagram – You can now follow hashtags on Instagram. What does that mean? When you are following a hashtag the top photos that are tagged with the hashtag will show up in your feed. This is a fun way to see new content. But beware of what you subscribe to because anyone can use a hashtag. You can view my #startathomedecor here on Instagram.
