Are you ready for the 3rd week of the shop the house challenge? This challenge has been so fun to make me rearrange and use random items I have sitting around my house or for that matter made. This week I wanted to use items that didn’t have a home yet so everything could stay put. One of the hard things about staging a pictures is I take items from one place to use in a picture and I always create a bare spot, but not this week! I am also so excited to introduce my shiplap pumpkins!
I have always wanted to add some signs to my shelves and centerpiece but I didn’t know quite how to do it until I started playing around with them today. I have been working on making shiplap pumpkins to sell at the Vintage Whites Market this weekend and I am so excited to show them to you today! They are the perfect signs for my shelves and I love the hint of fall they add to this space! After Vintage White’s I will be selling the remaining pumpkins in my Etsy Shop. I used the same pumpkins I painted last week and rearranged them around this scale. I had another small bucket full of succulents in our front room so changed the big one out for this small one.
I bought this scale a month ago and it has just been hanging out waiting to be used. Isn’t it darling ….. and you want to know something funny? It is backwards….that is the birds backside …… oops….. but I didn’t realize it until it was too late!
You can buy this scale and see the front side (hehe) on Amazon here: Creative Co-Op Decorative Iron Scale with Bird (affiliate link)
As for my shelves I rearranged a few of my dishes and added my shiplap pumpkins. Simple but it added a whole new feeling to our shelves!
I just love how rustic these shiplap pumpkins turned out…look at all that texture!
