Happy New Year!!
  I can’t believe it is already 2016.
I hope everyone had an amazing year. I wanted to thank all of you for making my year so great.  I have learned so much this year.  There were many ups and downs but at the end of the day I feel so blessed to be where I am today.  If you would have told me last year I would have had the chance to be in a competition on Bob Vila or  be featured on HGTV’s blog I would have thought you were crazy.  I have been blogging for 4 years now and it was a much needed push in the right direction.
This year I decided to open up an Etsy shop, which I have loved creating things for and seeing them used in a your homes.  My mind is always thinking of new products and ideas I can make and list.  If of course they don’t end up in my home first.
My last and final adventure of this year is the decision my husband and I made to buy a CNC machine.  I love that I can produce my own products and ideas.  I have a learning curve I am trying to overcome but so far I have had so much fun making new products for my home.
I made this fun cutout for my brother for Christmas, no he isn’t a baby, but it sure looks good over my babies crib!
All my words are cut out of 1/4 inch MDF and are so much fun to decorate and the best part?  I am now making them to sell!! They are up in my Etsy shop.

Stay tuned for many more products to come…I just have to figure out how to cut them right!!

What type of CNC machine do you have? My wife and I looked at purchasing one for metal cutouts but the machines seem to be quite pricey….
